Land IQ LLC seeks Project Remote Sensing Scientist. Job site is located at 2020 L Street, Suite 210, Sacramento, CA 95811. The position requires Master of Science in Geography, Remote Sensing, or directly related field. Minimum of 5 years agricultural Remote Sensing related experience required especially in crop mapping and geospatial analysis. Minimum 5 years experience using Python programming for spatial analysis (e.g., GDAL, OSGeo, geopandas, pyproj, rasterio), statistical modelling (e.g., Scikit-Learn, statsmodels, matplotlib) and advanced machine learning (eg Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch) of agricultural systems. Minimum 5 years of experience processing raster data and building models from remotely sensed satellite images (e.g., Pleiades, Sentinel-2, Landsat, MODIS, Planet) in Python to predict diverse land cover and water use. Salary: $127,878 per year
