Land IQ is excited to announce two new team members to join our growing team of land-based and spatial sciences groups. We look forward to incorporating these two into our projects to better serve our clients.
Greg has joined Land IQ as a Geospatial Analyst.
He received his Bachelor's degree in Spatial Data Science and Technology from the University of Oregon, where he focused on a variety of subjects including web development, cartography and data science. Greg contributed to many geospatial projects during his time at the University for both the US Forest Service and the InfoGraphic's Lab. He is interested in making the information behind big data easy to understand and interpret, as well as building easy-to-use web applications to visualize data.
Joel Crowther has joined Land IQ as a Soil and Agricultural Scientist. He holds a Masters in Agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelors in Agronomy from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Joel has lifelong involvement in the agriculture industry and has worked in California agriculture since 2018. His technical expertise includes soil fertility and nutrient management, variable rate technology, proximal sensing and geospatial analysis. He is also a Certified Crop Advisor in California.
