Zhehan Tang is a Remote Sensing Scientist at Land IQ. He has used remote sensing in agriculture monitoring for 6 years, and is passionate about applying remote sensing and data science technology to improving agriculture productivity and sustainability. In his PhD study, he worked on building machine learning models to detect water stress of multiple crops using data from satellite/UAV imagery and proximal sensors, and predict tomato yield with time series of satellite and weather data. He received his PhD in Geography from University of California, Davis, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Science from Cornell University and Zhejiang University.
